I am truly not accustomed to being admired for my beauty, nor indeed do I feel entitled to expect such attention. I fear you are a flatterer - though I can think of no reason why you or any other male should seek to impress me in this way - for I have neither wealth nor lands nor a property of any great value. But do not let me dissuade you, sir, if you wish to continue your oration, if it is as truly heartfelt as you will have me believe.
