I'm just your boring average ex-account who wasted a lot of his youth playing fantasy RPGs (Role-Playing Games), specifically Dungeons & Dragons and Stormbringer/Elric, originally for outside Philadelphia PA who turned to computer graphics as an artistic outlet. I spent 30 years from the mid 80's to late 2012 living in Palm Beach County FL (North Palm Beach to be specific), working for not-for-profits in the social service and health care arena, but suffered a health crisis due to undiagnosed diabetes which had me in the hospital for 5 months, cost me part of my left foot, and has taken several years to recover from. I now live in Milford DE to be near family. My diabetes has left me with advanced renal disease, forced me to start dialysis, which I can fortunately do at home, but has me locked up for an hour four times a day (which allows me plenty of time to keep up on my gallery comments), but I still have a fair amount of independence and my health issues aren't nearly as bad or inconvenient as many others are. Most of my work is inspired by those fantasy RPG campaigns I wasted a lot of my youth on. I tend to post series of images with rather lengthy narratives that add up to short stories, or chapters in on-going tales. Thank you for your interest and attention!
Update:
Due to a very seriously broken ankle and shin I've been stuck in a wheelchair for over a year with an external fixator on my right leg, but I'm still managing to get by on my own.

Your story and art worth the wait. Take the time you need. I'll won't able to post anything for a while have to work which means time away from the computer.

I feel your pain, my friend! I know all too well what you mean... These tales have a way of taking on a life of their own - and end up telling you how they want to proceed.... I've done so many re-writes, my eyes are permanently crossed! 😝

Great cover scene and build up - I don't know how to rush the creative process and I don't try - good luck!!!

Thanks for your kind comment!
Sometimes it's being too creative that's the issue... If I didn't keep coming up with new ideas to integrate into the story I'd be farther along!

Take your time. It's an enjoyable pastime and time well spent reading your tale, but not at the expense of your own satisfaction with the finished work if you feel compelled to push it out too quickly

I appreciate the encouragement... I usually hold off on even starting to post a "book" until I've completed all the images and narratives, but this time I was overly ambitious and thought it was be a quick, short story... I should have known better! It's grown to twice the number of installment I originally planed with a few twists I only thought of as it developed.

Thank you... Unfortunately my intention to continue this series with new posts sometime soon have been derailed by the second crash of my HP computer in six months... Although I should have it back from a local repair shop soon (I don't trust HP to fix it this time even though it's under warranty because they clearly screwed it up last time), it took me three months to get everything reinstalled last time and I lost dozens of products which were no longer available from both here and Daz3d... So it could be months before I am able to even consider resuming this series.

I hope the best for your desktop. I would like to have a new one, but is out of question for now.

Thanks... I know the feeling... The solid state drive cost me a couple hundred bucks, but it's cheaper that buying a whole new computer!

I'm so sorry to read about your computer problems. I'm about a month behind with backing up all my images and products, so this will be the stimulus for doing this tomorrow. I've experienced a lot of problems with DS lately and about 25% of my time with it is waiting for the "Not Responding" message to end. I've lost 2 computer's worth of art and music. One completely which lost products no longer available (like what happened to you). I'm using a Dell because the fan in my really powerful Toshiba died almost a year ago. I found an external fan which works fine so I'll be moving some products to that computer and hopefully have less problems. Wishing you well health wise and with your computer. Add a back up drive if you can, so you won't lose as much in the future. Good Luck my friend!
zaqxsw
Thanks... I have an external drive and got a backup program to mirrors everything onto it so hopefully I will not have to go through this again... I strongly recommend it as a precaution!
