Description
Captured 5/16/09 at what was once the completely mirrored GTE building in town. The building remains but it no longer has the GTE title.

Beautiful capture. The reflection has way more contrasting features. Very well done !

I've seen different views of this building---or buildings like it---in your gallery; and you never fail to get new views of glass-steel walls and their reflections, each time you capture them. In this shot, the wall takes up 3/4 of the shot---a bold move, in itself---but, because of the broad and crystal clear reflections, it seems to continue the flow rather than interrupt it. Yet, it does interrupt it---with those increasingly tighter mullions, going back into space. It's a rich, geometric image, almost a set of illusions; and the division between reality and reflection is wonderfully breached. Great reflections---they almost have the same light as reality, just a little more muted. Also a really fun play with geometry...
