Picking up where I left off...It was so nice to see the return of your bryce abstracts, you do them so well. This is a subdued one, with muted tones---the pinks, purples, greens, aquas: all muted. Feeling desaturated. The result is a more introspective abstract. Like the inside of a great molten glass ocean, only in a very private moment. The greens are in all different shades, and they're beautiful. And it has your usual overlay of forms, translucent in spots, and a wonderful intensification of forms on the lower left; with a looming huge opening on the right. Like the entry into another dimension. Like all your bryce pieces, it looms and has all kinds of surges and swirls. A subdued yet dramatic piece, with very deep introspective colors...
