Description

Some of you may remember Merlin. He is now 12 years of age, and a little frail due to being on medication for all his life. I feel so lucky that he is still with me. A very gifted friend did his portrait for me - I think she has captured him perfectly. Those of you who arer fortunate enough to live with Dogs will understand.

Do you miss me now you walk alone. no more racing the rain and wind together me avoiding puddles in my rolling sailor’s gait ears flattened, tail flying, my flag, happy, you wrapped warm, wellington booted, I found an old football, we played fetch, and I proudly carried it home, it’s still there under the medlar tree Oh yes Merlin, I miss you
