Description

When I was a young child, my Pop would take me to the Ringling Bros. Circus. I really liked the high-wire and trapeze acts as well as all the animals. And, yes, the wonderful clowns. I was a fortunate kid since we went many consecutive years. When it was announced that they were closing, I felt as though a part of my childhood was finally gone. Not only that, but a piece of true Americana was only to be a part of history. Of course, as an animal lover and champion, I was glad to see that these wonderful creatures would no longer be used in this fashion, but I still miss the circus. I also wonder what all those individuals connected to this circus are doing today. Thanks for the view and for your much appreciated comments. The outfit is the original Mary Annette by Sixus1 which I purchased at RDNA over 10 years ago...boy time really does fly.

Thank you hon for this awesome creation, I needed the lift of spirits. I recall going to the circus as a child filled with the wondrous acts they had, clowns included. Yes that's the outfit I have also, not like the upgraded version now. Love the lighting. And again thank you. Hugs.

I also used to go to the circus, I didn't like the clowns though :o)))) Like you I am pleased animals are, in most countries, no longer in the circus.

I like the carnivals with the rides and all the games. The lights, sounds and smells are etched in many fun memories. The night light show with loud rocking music as I spun and twirled, oh ya... 🚨💫😁

We all have fond memories of our childhood encounters with the Circus, but I feel easier that the animals are treated better now, because of the enormous and very prohibitive food costs for all those hungry animals.

A wonderful dedication to a great artist and friend, and a guy that can use all the support he can get.

I only remember going to the circus a time or two when i was a kid, but it was great. Soooooo sad to see RB&B&B close down. another bit of Americana falls to the changing times.

Yeah I didn't go to a lot of circuses in my youth but I know that feeling. There are so many that gone for today for various reasons so this image does make me feel nostalgic.

I agree with the sentiments about the loss of the circus and acts, but for the animals, it is a blessing. Wonderful image and narrative
