Description
This version was rendered using Superfly. I do like this version better: the grass and ground look more believable, the lighting is better too. Moved the fawn out from behind of the smoke, etc. of the bonfire--can see her better now. Superfly can render most of Firefly's textures...a few things such as skin texture,. glass, water, metals and such would need their textures adjusted. Also, lights need to be turned down in Superfly. Still have tons of things to learn, e.g. cycles, but I really do like the results. Still contend that Poser is a far superior program to DS. Only real difference is that SmithMicro has miserable marketing, and Daz has a very aggressive, almost predatory, approach to marketing. If I had attempted this scene in DS, I would still be rebooting my computer. This render took ~15 minutes.

This version really does look great! I like that you've moved the fawn to the right, so he's more easily seen. All in al, a beautiful work, my friend!
I've been using Poser for several years, and even though I've been using DAZ as well recently, Poser will be my main tool, especially where the TNA story is concerned. Both certainly have their own strengths and weaknesses. But I like having both in my toolbox - along with PS CC of course 😁

I agree. This is much better. Glad you are getting the hang of the Superfly!

Version 2 is much better. I also noticed that the fire is more 'fiery' with sparks floating above the flames like a real fire would. Deer are rather curious creatures so yes I can imagine one hanging around at the edge of the firelight. When I used to live up north, they would race by us as we walked home at night. No sound save their disturbance of the air.

Beautiful scene. I think that it depends on the machine that is running the program and what you're after in the scene
