Description
not really but does hold a resemblance to the Shiprock in New Mexico Four Corners area. I was able to see the real Shiprock from Utah. I had very clear weather except for thick ground fog in West Texas.
yesterday I met a neighbor and long time lady friend and she asked me if I would install a disposal in her deceased mother's home. I told her yes, however today my disposal went out $160 some dollars worth. coincidence does not always have a happy ending. I installed it today and my body was complaining about being on the floor

beautiful shot, love how the landscape exacerbates its sense of loneliness and isolation

A spectacular photo, Richard.
I think Murphy must have been following you around, and said "Why replace one when you can replace two?" That's the way it usually works around here...

Nature's creations never cease to amaze and delight. For some reason I want to imagine this is a sort of castle. Think of what sorts of inhabitants one would encounter therein! :)

Really cool the way the rock just seems to erupt out of the ground

Very fine photo of this landmark! Too bad you had to have to learn the lesson about 'no good deed ever goes unpunished!' LOL. Really sorry to hear about your disposer. I have had to replace three since I moved into my current shack!
