My image for the Bryce Forum November Challenge
ok, folks... this is as good as this one is gonna get until I either get some more memory, or teach myself how to composite images in post, or both. File size was 130megs before I added the trees, plants and extra characters. I've only got 256 megs RAM, and every time I tried to save after adding anything further, Bryce crashed. So I rendered this final image before trying to save again (crash).
Daz's Mil Dragon and goblin, John Malis for the 'human' characters, derjimi for the wall in the background, and the only credits I've got for the house is someone named 'hehornecker'. All else is Bryce. Rope is multi-repped metaballs along a path.
Some (but not very much) post-work in Painter.

Very nice. I really like the camera angle. I understand what you mean about RAM constrains. I have 512 Mb and am seriously think of going up to 1 Gb since memory is so cheap now. Anyway, again, great job.

Nicely done. I have the same RAM problems with only 256 Mb. Most of my more complex scenes have to be done as 3 or 4 separate files, then combined using blend transparencies of renders for background elements.

Very well done, love it...

Perfect! I think You are likely to make a brilliant animations having increased RAM. btw do You have the latest Bryce patch? I had my Bryce crashed though I have 1 Gb DDR 2100 but after installing the patch (I have windows 2000) everything runs O. K.
