Description

I planted moonflower seeds in a tub along with some gourds. I thought the gourd vines had killed the moonflower vines. This was a pleasant surprise. What was a real surprise were the blue moonflowers (posted next) that bloomed overnight. I didn't think they came in blue Thanks for taking a look!

I've heard of Moon River, Moon Glow, Moon shot, Moonshine, and Moon over Miami, but never a Moonflower. Thankfully it survived and gave full bloom for this cool capture.

My grandmother had several of these vines and they formed a canopy over her porch. It was delightful. I didn't know they had blue blossoms either. Great photos.
