Description

The next series of images of th WDC Rangers headed towards a battle that is starting within their system. I was not as happy as I would like to have been with the images I had done. I had been browsing all of your (artists') galleries and saw how some of them looked so darn awesome! So I read up on Refraction / Diffusion / etc. I tried getting these to Render in Poser Pro 2012, but the program kept crashing on me (most likely because my PC is a 64-bit system). So, I went back into DAZ and edited each and every item I could to see how they would render differently compared to default. I was able to get some of the items to look a bit more like they were reflecting the World being destroyed outside while getting some of the (more) proper see-thru colors I was hoping for. I know Poser tends to do a lot better, but I did the best I could with Daz.

Wanted a reverse angle with the world being destroyed .. I didn't realize the glass actually diffused properly until just now .. (see pilot on left (top center)) you can see a person but the details are washed out from the outside reflections .. I musta hit the settings decently.
