Description

this is a painting I did . I put Richardphotos so people will know what happen to him today. He called me to tell me his internet is down as Lightning hit the server in his area and burn every thing up . That is the big server that do Dallas. Anyway He say he OK been raining in his area for a few days.. The rain is just getting to my area. He Ok nothing is wrong with him. The painting here is about a father and daughter playing together

This looks like watercolor, or at least acrylic (I'd be very surprised if it's oil). Love the way the colors meld and bleed, and boy did you capture the feel of this scene: The two people are really looking at each other---father and daughter united by music. And I love how you paint the blues and the maroons---great shadows and strokes. And I love her lime-colored shirt, and its lines too. The background is very bright, so it contrasts the father and daughter beautifully. And that case is like a sleeping giant. You created a very airy feeling, with the connection between father and daughter giving it the substance. Love your treatment of the instruments too. A touching, bright portrait of family united around music.
