This really is i9mpressive Barbara. I see you're back in Poser. I have read about a workaround on one of Faerymike's postings. The one with the two guys under a bridge! Forget his name now but I'll dig it out for you. It might make sense of Daz for you! lol

I'll just do two old pieces this morning, though there's a lot else...You've created a macabre, frightening and beautiful doll inside a class holder. As if she's become so canonized by her lineage that she's now preserved behind glass, as if in a museum in a private viewing room in the family's old, old mansion. (I can almost hear the wind creaking through the wood.) The tone is dark browns and reds, and you got the texture of 16th and 17th century oil paintings, with cracked paint. The tones are of that era too (lots of dark shadows, and chiaroscuro). Your main character---Sugar Doll (great irony)---is like the daughter who died young, centuries ago, and was so different from everyone of her time, she was preserved as a warning, while now she's an inspiration, her very differentness being a badge of strength. You've given her a querying look...and the skulls around her are like the fruits of those 16th and 17th century painters, only here they're skulls...w/ gold brocaded silk beneath. This really is a period piece; I think it's remarkable. I half expect some boris-karloff-like character to saunter over, his mummified cloths dangling along the floor, and say, "yesssss? may I help yuuuuuu?" (as spiders scutter away and bats take off from above his head). This would make a great halloween image---but I see you posted it in October so it already was. Beautifully done, Barb.
