I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I think she will fit right in with this crew. Beautiful and brainy!

I despise that worn out trope "overqualified for the job." Problem is, so many are simply not qualified for the job and these are often the ones who are in control...
Love your scenes...I am, once again, blown away by the detail and the level of excellence of your work. It's such a pleasure to experience :)
Richardphotos
she is a beautiful addition to the crew. lots of work on this with all the poses and clothes fitting
Faemike55
Great news for Ayssa and the team. She'll have a blast at T.N.A Headquarters! Great posing and lighting in the scenes.. Nice thing is that the cheezeburger didn't make Kinnie's wings pop out like the Petsa did
RodS
Just wait 'till she tries the wings...... A Fae eating wings.... Oh, the irony... LOL
eekdog
I wonder how Kinnie would do at like a golden Corral all you can eat Buffet. With all the varieties she would be in heaven. Nice of the girls to invite her over. She has a long story about her job loss. Just hope she's not luring them in for something. But she sounds like a honest person, cool Mr Rabbit will love her. His skills are tremendous also. Love how you place your worded ballons, most professional my friend.
Just got back that 64 bit, gotta get up at 3:30am so gonna start renders.
RodS
Awesome! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
makennedy
She's definitely a keeper, nice job on this page...

no head exploding allowed after retirement. It's in the rules. If word goes to Nepal, it has to take you and significant others along. Also in the retirement rules. YOU retired, WORD cannot!!!
GREAT Story!
RodS
Ya hear that, Word? LOL I'm up for someplace warmer than Nepal, though... 😆
bakapo
another member of the group. good work, your details are amazing.
crender
Sooooo Amazing !!!

Great image and installment! I hear you about Word... I think mine has a ticket booked on that same flight and is planning an escape when I'm not looking... either that or I've finally beak it into submission!
jocko500
wonderful work

Are you being victimized by these infernal windows 10 updates too!?? I lost the use of excel 2003. Luckily I have an older computer running windows 7 that still works so all is not lost in that department. I really hate these know it all sob's that think change is so gall darned necessary at the expense of all us ordinary people that are happy with what we have! We aren't dumb! We know it is just an attempt to force us to buy the newer versions of their darn worthless software! Love your episode here, Rod! Very good work! Bravo and many fine kudos!
RodS
Actually it was Photoshop CC this week... Windows 10 was last week.... 😆😁

Nice work. I wish job hunting was always that easy!
ZanderXL
Mechatronics, huh? Will she be building robots for the team? 😁 Hope they tell her that it's a contractual obligation to occasionally get her kit off and "frolick"... 😁😁
Awesome work!
bucyjoe

You seem to be a man after my own heart, Rod. There still seems to be a bias towards smart females in our society. I personally like smart well educated women. Hell, I like smart well educated "people" - period! I just don't care for people who think they know everything when in fact they know very little (LOL)! When we compare your group of young ladies to mine, there is NOT that much difference. Keep up the work, Rod!!!
RodS
I'm right on board with ya good sir in everything you just said. 😄 If your crew ever needs backup you know who to call! 😁

Excellent work, my friend ! ! ! Really great lighting in this series ! ! !
goodoleboy
Very interesting! And most of all of what was said above.

Hi Rod, hope all has been well with you. I have been away for almost 6 months. Need to catchup on you gallery and stories. Will catch on the story before I start commenting. But at least for now Miho and I say here's to girl power, There is nothing girls can't do !
You have a great weekend :)... Hopefully I will have time to be more active here.

Interesting story lines Rod! It looks like there's soon gonna be a new addition to the 'TNA' gals, and I think she's gonna fit right in! It's nice to see the 'gals' enjoying lunch together, and the new girl too........I have a question......do these gals have boyfriends, and a social life.....or is it strictly 'all work and no play'?? Also.....whatever happened to one of your new characters (the wolf girl)....I hope you soon plan to include her into some of your story lines.....that would be cool!! 'lol'!!!
RodS
She's got kind of a 'behind the scenes' part in the story, as she likes to keep things pretty secret. But here's a hint.... See the icon for the comment just above yours? Check out Rajib's gallery, and you'll get to see her in action. 😉
Axeye
Killer artwork and an awesome page and story! I have no idea how you accomplish this!

Rod, I skipped an image only so I could do another TNA installment. I'm at an hour and 10 minutes, and I've barely visited most of my other fans, so I have to move on after this (I've been slow this time around); but I'm gonna try to come back to do more before I step away. So, to this installment...
Another installment that sets up action; and, given that not a lot is happening 'overtly' (I mean dramatic action), you still build up tension and you resolve issues, and you get a visual thing going that draws us in every time. I love your layout of this cafe, lots of space, and the light is easy and well spaced out. I love the high ceilings. And as always (man, you gotta call Ralph Lauren or something!) your sense of style, posing and clothing is terrific. Everyone looks great.
Your first frame really brings out the isolation of Alyssa (and I remembered her as soon as I saw your early installments, listed above). She's posed with retiring/reticent emotion too---you do this really well (ie, capture emotion in a single pose). That's really good posing, Rod. And I love your visuals on the wall. I won't dwell on them right now, but I see every one!
2d frame, you move-in (this is basic film grammar: Establishing shot, then closing in.) The verticals here are really fine, design-wise, along with their shadows. And you have reflections in it too. All this as you slowly weave Alyssa into the storyline...(well written, well prepared and paced)
3d, she joins them; and the expression on her face remains fatigued and disappointed (fine job), while the others look much more perked (and they have more color too). Just the right contrasts. I'm also always impressed that your captions never interfere. There's SO much to manage in these frames, you gotta be exhausted when you're done with an installment! (And what are those visuals in the background! you really pick wild stuff for your backgrounds...keeping us on our toes...)
4th, we zero in on Alyssa, and hear her story. Her face is perfect. And finally, 5th, the light seems to spread around more (to harmonize with the up-tick in the story), we see everyone from top to toe, and it feels like a final scene where everything comes together. And you reveal the big hearts of your main characters once more. (See, G-4 may sell a high end perfume, but ain't no snob!) And everyone looks great throughout. Great work with postures, hue, sheen on their clothes, the clothes themselves, and the sequence. Terrific, Rod. I hope to do more in a few days. But at least I was hear nearly 90 minutes! (If I were faster tonight, I'd have gotten to more in that time.) Thanks so much for your consistently caring, supportive and always wholly engaged comments and just friendship period. It makes coming here a joy. And btw, I too found that tara and bill were moving to your neck of the woods: That's great! And they're not too far away. (In chicago, you can live in the 'area' but still be 3 hours away; I imagine that's the same in KC...I'm glad they're close by. Great news!) Terrific job, Rod, and I hope to be back here soon...

I appear to be back on track now.
