My uncle had a 1946 Chevrolet with the exact same body style. It resumed production after WW2 from the identical 1941 body design, since car production ceased in order to build tanks and airplanes. This Oldsmobile was that Chevy with tweaks for styling to make it different so as to call it an Oldsmobile.

I have no doubt of GM using the Chevrolet base for their luxury lines. I checked 37,38,39,40,46,47 model years online and none had this type of grille. GM got into trouble not so many years ago because they used a Canadian Chevrolet V8 in Pontiacs and people sued. GM replaced their engines with actual Pontiacs

This place looks like a abandoned car lot from thirty years ago. They left the cars.
