Description

Not sure exactly where we are. The docent on the bridge said something about a gyro and radar room and the radio room. Sure looks like the radio room to me but then I passed a radio room one deck below... it was fitted out as a ham station and I did not poke around. I dislike disturbing folks who are obviously busy, so's I'm not sure if that was the radio room or a radio room. (by their definition. It sure as heck qualifies as a radio room to me. Anyone with better knowledge should feel free to chime in.) The interesting thing about all this prehistoric gear is I caught the docent saying that they are restoring it and most of it works for receiving; transmitting is the next item on the check list. The equipment is original to the ship This is spacious. Very spacious. However, it's a bit worn from hurricane damage -- check the overhead in this and the following (preceding) image. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
