Xin Quon -- The Unlikely Jedi by MioraaNyte

Xin Quon was born on the city planet Coruscant to a family of merchants in the Old Galactic Market. Xin was twelve years old when the Sith Empire invaded the planet. During the battle for the planet, Xin's parents were killed when they were caught in the crossfire between Republic and Imperial troops. For many years after the war, Xin survived in the gang infested region by foraging and stealing basic necessities she needed. Xin also discovered that she was able to manipulate objects, even control other's minds and actions with her thoughts.
One day, as Xin was going about the market, she found a 'mark' and apparently dazed the strangely dressed man with her thoughts. As Xin went through the man's pockets searching for valuables, a voice reverberated in her head saying, "you don't want to do this, this is not who you truly are... you are capable of much more." Taken aback by the sudden intrusion into her thoughts, Xin stared up at the man. What she saw frightened the young woman, the man was gazing back at her, seemingly unfazed by her mind control. Standing there, hands on his hips, the man's cloak was pulled back to reveal the hilt of a lightsaber.
"That was pretty good," the man said as he smiled, "but I believe you have potential to become more than you thought possible." The stranger then held out his hand to Xin, "I will not hurt you, but if you're willing to take a chance and follow me, I can guarantee you a better life." Then he added, "not an easier life, but definitely a better one than you have now."
Sensing the man's sincerity, Xin grasped his hand and asked, "first, who are you? Second, where are we going?"
As the two walked toward the taxi pad, the man turned to her and replied, "question one, I am Korgan Deru, a Master of the Jedi Order. Question two, we are going to Tython... to begin your training as a Jedi Knight, my young Padawan."
"Me... a Jedi?", Xin blurted out in surprise, "are you serious? You've got to be kidding me!"
"Oh, I never joke about taking on a Padawan," Master Deru responded, "you have a strength in the Force rivaling that of many a master, including myself." With a chuckle, the Jedi added, "I sense you are not destined to be the typical Jedi, though. I'm really looking forward to being both your teacher and your student. The next few years should prove quite interesting."
"Next few years?", Xin queried.
Once again, a bit of laughter in his voice, Master Deru replied to the young woman, "Coruscant wasn't built in a day, there is much to learn. Besides, I can't wait until Master Satele Shan gets a load of you, she's going to have a bantha."
Putting his arm gently across her shoulders, Master Deru once again began to lead his new student towards the taxi pad and her destiny...

The stories really are fantastic to read (and spark so much more Star Wars flaitr than the last few movies did). Plis, Xin is quite the eye candy. Keep 'em coming and may the force be with you. Always!

Thank you. My story lines for my characters are based on the game Star Wars : The Old Republic, which takes place approximately 3000 years prior to the movies.

awesome; story and image.

Very nice. I guess she is looking down because she is unsure of her being a Jedi. Nice story to go along.
MioraaNyte
Thanks Rajib. Actually her eyes were set to look into the camera, but you're right, it does appear she is looking down. Hmmmm, DAZ Studio strikes again (probably a plot by the Empire LOL ).

Ferretmania
Outstanding and with a great story too.

Oh, my goodness... She doesn't need a lightsaber - or even a mind trick - to keep me from falling to the dark side! What a fetching Jedi she will be! I'm sure Satele will be most impressed (and she's pretty darn foxy herself..)
Outstanding work on this great scene. May the Force be with you.
Kordouane
