[watercolor and ink on Arches 200 lb cold-press]
I painted this one mostly because I was intrigued by the rickety log bridges still in use in some parts of Vietnam.

I've seen this picture in "A Day in the Life of Viet Nam." There is a man on the bridge and it is in Apple's Quicktime. How wonderful that you have made a picture of the same bridge on a different day with different traffic.

I am in awe of this one. It is so poetical.. the black wooden gives a sense of depth, and the whole thing is so well made, and inspiring. Fantastic piece, bravo.

Oh cool about the Apple Quicktime video of a similar bridge! Is it available as a free download? If so, could you send me the URL? My picture was actually based on some photographs in a National Geographic story (I think from 1993?). Since I've never had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam in person, I had to rely on photos, and those bridges really caught my attention.
