Description

This was my first render of 3d art and I'm pretty happy with it, it's not perfect, but I'm ok with it. I've always loved muscle cars and when I saw this '65 GTO being offered here by RPublishing / Schurby I decided to take a chance on it, despite the age of the files and that it was mainly designed for Poser. I'm glad I did, and hope you agree. I had to do some tweaks to the textures to get it to look really nice and work with Daz3D, as that's the program I've been learning with lately. I added Iray materials to every part and upgraded some of the textures to more accurately fit the 1965 Pontiac GTO as released that year. Don't get me wrong, RPublishing did a great job on this model! I love it. I'm very attention detail oriented and wanted it to be as close as possible to as released, especially for the muscle car purists out there. I didn't put the engine in it yet as I didn't want the extra pixels that wouldn't be seen, to slow down the render. Again, I love this car and love this model! I just tweaked it a little bit. Hope you like it. More images will be coming out of the shop soon.

I raced a Goat a few times and always lost, but it had 150 more HP than my 69 Chevy. both renders are very good

Thank you. My dad had a 67 GTO when I was a little kid and I wish I had that car. :-)

Great render of the Pontiac. Those "old" Schurby models still look great.

They did a great job with them, and I just did some "paint" work mainly. :-)

I owned one just like this with tri-power and a four-speed. Beautiful work

Cool and thank you! My favorite was my Dad's '67 GTO, hardtop, tri-power and I think it had the 4 speed. He put red and blue flashing lights and a siren behind the grill so he could go to fires in style. :-)
