Description
The Director wanted to get some romantic images to interweave into a music video being produced. Jorja was picked as the subject since she was the girlfriend of the bass player and pretty to boot. The Director got the bright idea to do a candle lit night setting but realized candles of any size would get in the way, so he asked for tea candles – LOTS of tea candles. The resident Gofer was dispatched to collect hundreds of the little things. He managed to clean out the supplies of most of the surrounding stores and then had to set them all over the stage. The Director realized that to make the shoot work, all of the candles would need to be lit at nearly the same time. He commandeered every person on the set and grabbed people off the street to help with the lighting. Jorja got into her position and the Director yelled, “Light ‘em up!” Everyone scrambled to get their candles lit and off the stage as quickly as possible so the few minutes of footage can be collected with the most desirable look of fresh candles. The idea worked like a charm and got Jorja a lot of notice.
Thought all these candles would be perfect for a birthday dedication. I couldn’t decide which of the images would work best, so I posted both. Hope all the November Artists have a wonderful day! Let me know if you want to be added to the list (or taken off).
