early morning with little fog and curious cow :-)

The cow is imposing, standing there like it's made from charred stone, staring at you intensely. The background is hushed in fog and mists, and gives the light to the shot. You find and work really well with shots where light is often not in the foreground; or where it is, but the background is very dark---you work very well with strong contrasting light; and this is a fine example. The line of fog on the ground is perfectly lined-up with this cow's head, like she's wearing it as a head-dress. And the sky back there is lit up from the early sun. A powerful, mysterious shot. And sweeping. (And I don't think I could live with two big tags in my ears! Don't they get in the way of their hearing???)

Great shot, Prisca! Funny but after the Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother" with a cow on the album cover such captures are often associated with their music, although your cow is quite different.
