Description
This render went completely in a different direction. Started with a shader for clothes (discarded, used another "fluffy" shader which I had not tried), changed the dress, changed the character's skin, changed the hair back and forth...... all in all the normal process, I guess. Only that the image at the beginning has nothing in common any more with the outcome. Oh, well, then. At least I can say it is back to Basic (uaahhhh what a lousy pun). But it is late. VERY late. Almost early one could say.

Great image. I know what you mean about the final image bearing no relation to what you started out planning. I've done that more times than I can count.

Rrun, your women deserve, like Mr. Rubens, their own category. This way when we're standing around discussing the finer points of 3D imaging and need to reference a model we can simply sound cool and hip by saying, "Yeah, she's very Rrunesque." :-)
Not sure what the cigarette added but (he shrugs) it seems to be all the rage these days. :-/
Maybe next time she can have an 'as if' expression while blowing a cloud of smoke in some jerk's face. :-D

Agree with those workflow comments. Mine start much the same way and end up far removed from the initial concept. Great character work, beautifully lit and very well framed. Excellent work!
