How magnificent!
As a child, I thought red-winged blackbirds were very special. On the way to school, I would be pleased to see flocks 40-, 50-, even 100-strong. As I grew older, the creatures became increasingly rare; eventually, they vanished entirely. I haven't seen a single red-winged blackbird in decades. Not one!

Handsome fella, our blackbirds are all black with yellow beaks, would be lovely to see bit of colour.
