Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

Marvellous history about the past my friend.

Very interesting. Only a single file here, and I surmise that the narrowness of this corridor would make it difficult for someone to desert their duties...thanks for sharing--always enjoy your history "lessons."

a beautiful capture of the light and shadow play, sure glad I wasn't a soldier posted to those un-insulated corridors however, must have been really cold on duty in winter

Tight space but it seems to add security - cool capture my friend!!!

Before I read your description I thought it reminded me of a fortress I saw in China where the soldiers would be on guard in long exterior corridors with openings to fire their arrows through! Beautiful photo which tells the story very well! Excellent!

In the past, people were smaller and thinner. Hardly anyone comes through the narrow hallway today. Or is that deceptive? Great photo, Jean-Claude.
