Description
a virtuoso with the guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica and other instruments. He was quite humorous also
I have several favorites which stand out to me but "Yesterday when I was young" and "thank God and Greyhound she is gone" which held special meaning to me

I recall Roy on Hee Haw for many many years! Always loved his pickin and grinnin. He had a cool run on the Beverly Hill Billies too, as I recall! All the great ones are leaving us. So sad to realize that! Beautiful memorial, Richard! Excellent sentiment!

"Yesterday when I was young" Sounded familiar and then it came to me Charles Aznavour and then of course Shirley Bassey - Yesterday When I Was Young (1976 Live in Melbourne - Song 9). Nice tribute.
