I don't have any of his music but when I heard yesterday he had died it made me very sad. When I was very young I saw Roy Clark, in the late 1950s on B/W TV, rabbit ear antenna with wings of Tin Foil the whole schmear, probably on Grand ole Oprey or something. My love of Guitar music and Guitar playing geniuses was born, I don't have any of his music because his genre was mainly Country and mine ain't but there is no denying his Genius on the Guitar...RIP Roy

A virtuoso guitarist, Roy Clark could play any musical instrument known to human-kind. It seems that he thought music was life itself. Not the most widely known, but truly one of the greats. Your tribute is more than appropriate.

I'm not a country music fan but Roy Clark was one I did listen to. He will be missed.

Ya, even if you are not a fan of a type of music, you can still appreciate the skill and talent of a musician. Of course my parents listened to old country music, so I just had to like rock, lol...

I grew up watching him and the gang on Hee-Haw; fond memories... RIP Roy.
