The friends ran & ran as fast as they could. Zlata was jogging up & down on the back of master Unicorn & although she was frightened of falling off his back she was more worried about poor Zwoggle who was hanging onto Master Unicorns mane. They all came to a stop & Jasmine decided they really did need a rest, she settled down relieved to have stopped. Truly went to help Zwoggle, he slid to the ground wondering if he would ever stand up straight again. Jasmine suddenly became aware of something coming up behind her, she turned & saw this huge bear lumbering towards them. "It's ok, it's ok." came a puffed squeaky voice from the bear. Which startled Truly a bit, such a big bear with such a little voice. "I am Petal." the bear noticed that the friends all took an intake of breath. "Yes I know my name maybe strange for one so big but I was born in the forest among the flowers so mum called me Petal. Now that is cleared up, Garth the Grizzly asked me to, hopefully, get you & Master Unicorn safely through the forest to Jazzle, Shimmer & baby Jingle." said Petal. Zlata looked over to Petal & said, "I think your name is lovely, just think if you were called Zlata or Zwoggle." "Do you think we will be ok to rest a while?" Truly asked, she really didn't think her legs could carry her much farther at the pace they had been going. Petal looked around, she noticed the crows circling. "The wolves are quite a way away on the mountains so you can rest for a short while." she told the friends. The friends were well aware that they couldn't rest for long but they needed more strength to carry on.
