I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Are you sure that "DB" doesn't stand for "Double-Barreled?" Super "HOT" render, my friend ! ! !

Ok, first of all, even though you based this on a fine (I assume) photograph b DB Walton, you turned it almost into a painting. I love the painterly quality of your model's face. I really love that. She looks more surprised, caught off guard here, which adds a vulnerability to her. (Not complaining about DBW's original, just saying that you created something different, which I really like.) And her stare follows suit---surprise to find us there. You show your photographic roots in pieces like this too, because this has some photojournalistic feeling, like you genuinely caught her off guard.
The rest of her body has more mutes tones, more shadow. And her stockings are a rich chocolate brown, which harmonize with the brown undertones in that very dramatic sky. It makes her surprised look all the more jolting, because she sits in front of a somewhat apocalyptic sky.
And the angles take us right back to her---they do in DVW's piece too; but this one feels like it's got more space, his felt more cloistered (because of his tighter crop). So she feels a little more 'lost' than DVW's model, which I also like because it adds to her vulnerability here.
I must say, you combine photo with render with real photographic panache. You get poses which range from monumental to very human. This is another stunning job, Rod.
