Description

Let us take some air. The building on the right is the front combat building the door for the artillery hall is not on the photograph. The building (or wall) in the back ground is the entry to the half caponnière (see Fort Napoleon) Where the gun is in it's casemate. All those barriers are for the biathlon they are holding today (25/11/2018) And you can see some of the differences with the model. After WWII it was used by the army as a vehicles maintenance facility so they build a lot of garages and made some extra roads to test drive the vehicles.
