At first, thank you for the nice comments and favorits to my last image: The Fate laughts with pointy Teeths - Nobody.
It means a lot to me.
Okay, the red-headed Novice translating for Otfried of Colmar is none other than Ragnor's cousin Ansgar. He is the son of Ragnor's favorite uncle Hackbart and his wife Mathilda. Ansgar did not do anything with the invaders. Actually, he wanted to use the trip to the far north to visit his relatives. He had known nothing about a genocide. The bigger was the dismay when he realized that he was deprived of some funny facts.
When he gets the chance to talk to the captured Ragnor, he is not surprised that he does not trust him. He even rejects him openly.
When Otfried von Colmar decides not to kill Ragnor on the spot, but to bring him to Aachen, to the Emperor, Ansgar Ragnor has the promise to buy Otar free. Ansgar also tries to ask his father to buy out Ragnor as well.
Ragnor himself continues to pursue the strategy of denying that he is Ragnor Skryrmison.
