after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

St, sorry to hear it's come to this eekdog :( I was hoping things would work out better. Parents are parents to be honest, no matter what. Sounds like moving in with your mom is a better idea than the streets? St. I wish I could do something, I hope there can be a resolution. Best of luck and wishes.

Nice job on this one, Steve...like that hair and background...
Do hope you get your living arrangements straightened out...you certainly do go from one crisis to the next--move in with your mom for awhile, Steve--I'm sure she'll understand.

Hope you find a place to go and get that money back that solved him to pay "your" home. I even think with the payment you did he can't set you out. I know it is not the way, but a lawyer could give you advise for free. To your picture, it is great my friend. Wishing you already the best for the old and New Year.

That's one sorry friend... doesn't seem to care about you current state of affairs. I do hope things get better for you. and you fix this more permanently! great image btw!

this image is cool. nice creepy background and a beautiful girl. I absolutely love her hair.
I'm so sorry you are struggling. ask Mom if you can stay for a little while. there are ways to avoid each other while living in the same house. I live with my mom as her full time caregiver... I keep to myself when I'm not actively taking care of her.

Exellent work.

So sorry to hear about this Steve :/ , don't know what to say, but as some others suggested, perhaps you should ask your mother, even if this just a temporarily thing. In any case, keep smiling :) - After my studies, I've been back living with my parents for some reasons (and still am), don't think I've ever told you ;) .

Awesome setting, beautiful character, love the lighting!

Very well done!

Cool rendering. Moving in with your mom doesn't sound too bad. My 63-year old son, who does much of the house work, is now living with me.

Fantastic image!
Sorry to hear about your housing issues... Anyone who would kick out somebody in the middle of winter in Colorado never deserved to be called a friend! I don't know about your municipality or the state of Colorado, but I worked with not-for-profits in other states where there were programs that provided temporary housing assistance... If you haven't checked for that maybe you should.

This is really gorgeous, Steve! As always you put your heart into your artwork.
I would think staying with your mom temporarily would be better than no place at all. You might want to look into a program like zaqxsw described. Anything would beat living in your car under a bridge. Hopefully, karma will visit and deal with that low-life Brian.
I've found that old saying about things being darkest just before the dawn to be true many times in my life. Don't give up, buddy.

Fabulous work!

He's no friend. A friend would never put you out in the cold. I guess you could call him a 'fair weather friend' but a true friend he's not. I have to agree with those who say try Mom. She IS your Mom hon. I wish you some good luck instead of all this crap stuff you've been bombarded with. Believe better times are ahead Steve. Hugs.

at least get your mom to allow you to park your car at her home and stay in a homeless shelter. I spent the night in one at Gallup, New Mexico and it sure beat sleeping in my car with temperatures falling like crazy. the food was really good also. if you are working a little, they will ask a very small amount to pay for your bed

WOW... Fantastic creation and beautiful character !!!
