earlier this year my large female dog had to be put to sleep because of her hips. anyway I have a realistic looking bronze turtle in the garden. the first time she noticed it, she backed up walking around it. she must learned the hard way, do not mess with turtles . this dog might learn the hard way with a piece of its nose gone
