Description
I am trying to slow down, if I can catch up on a few odds and ends, and relax and enjoy the holiday season. Maybe get in a couple more posts and visit the galleries here a bit more to see what I have been missing. Here is another with Jenny's sweet Li'l Patch Girl. Hope you like it. Seasons Greetings!

This is wonderful--she has such human problems for a metal girl. A wonderful take on the theme, too!

Great metal texture, a disturbing situation for her.

Beautiful and somber scene. She's probably trying to locate the area of discomfort within.
Excellent work, Rob.
love the lighting

Ah, the Christmas past--- as a child, it's always been the happiest time of the year, looked forward to it the whole year. And the excitement and fun, the joys of family gatherings and friends, attending the Midnight Mass together, the delectable dinner on the table, the holiday songs from the radio. Everything was alive even if those were just echoes of the past. But many years later, we gather together in front of a screen, we communicate with these hand held devices. The joys, the laughter, the fun that are not as pure as how it was back then. If only we knew, how times will change everything. If we can only bring the Christmas past back. But now it's buried deep down in our memories. ~~ I really love the dramatic lighting that you used here, a very fine render, Rob!

Yes, a sombre but superb scene which, once again make us think, ask questions...like, will the robots feel happy, sad, etc. one day ? The kind of questions aked by the mini series "Westworld", if you know what I mean.

a wonderful and emotional image. her pose is sad and she looks lonely and cold. I hope those odds and ends stir a warm memory full of smiles.

This is wonderfully done, and quite moving, Rob. I have to agree with what Jenny said above... We have, with all our technology and instant communication, somehow lost the warmth and closeness of actually being in the same room at the same time, enjoying a good meal and each others' company. It's much easier to punch a few buttons on an iPhone, and send a quick greeting through Facebook. Kinda sad...
