Description

The drop hammer was a forging tool. On the first image, we see the heavy hammer. The turbine was rotated by the water of a canal, and the mechanism made the hammer rise, then it fell on the piece of steel to be forged. This drop hammer is exposed in a courtyard of the ramparts.
