Description
Female Hand and Face Posing demonstrates the proper way to pose a woman's hand when placed next to the face. The image also shows closed loop lighting. A closed loop is when the shadow of the nose touches the shadow of the cheek. (An open loop would be when they do not touch.) Some call this "Rembrandt Lighting", but I prefer to call it what it technically is -- closed loop.
When posing a woman's hand, turn the pink edge towards the camera, or if that is awkward for the given pose, turn the thumb-edge towards the camera.
You'll also notice the lighting is harsh, yet it maintains a feminine look. (Lighting doesn't always have to be soft. Harsh lighting adds drama!)
Another aspect to this pose to take note of...
Pose your subject so the shoulders are at an angle. Squared off shoulders appear to be just that... square. In the case of a man, that might work, but women have curves. While this image doesn't show much of her curves, imagine how she'd look if her shoulders were straight across. Yet, her face is straight in to the camera. It works.

I really do like the dramatic lighting - I'm assuming you used just the one strobe? I've always heard it called Rembrandt lighting, but whatever it's called you managed to create a dramatic yet beautiful and feminine portrait of the beautiful woman.
I may have to give this pose a go in Poser...

@RodS, I converted my studio to LED lighting a couple of years ago. I built all of my own LED lights using stuff I bought from Home Depot, Lowe's or Amazon.com. In this case, it was a single 100W CREE bulb. I was teaching a one-on-one-on-one workshop (one instructor, one model and one student). I was showing the student how to light with a single light bulb. (In this case, the bulb was in droplight and clamped to a light stand.)
I'll add that to my list of things to do in Poser/DAZ. ;) I have so much stuff I want to do.
