The posthumous letter of Ionivka's mother, who has died tens of years ago, encourages her daughter to help Marc into writing his posthumous letter and to write her own. The posthumous letter is a virtual character driven by artificial intelligence that emulates the personality of the person who has "written" it. When, for example Ionivka interacts with her mother's posthumous letter, it is like seeing the ghost of her dead mother and have a natural conversation with her.
