I tried creating a holiday scene similar to this last year but it didn’t turn out right so I never published it. This year I gave the scene another try and finally nailed it thanks to an awesome new Christmas tree model, a new dynamic sweater with textures by me, and finally getting the lighting and postwork right. To be honest, the raw render looks quite boring and dim. It was only in postwork that this scene truly became alive and what you see here.

Gorgeous work on this warm scene, Lizzie! Glad you gave it a second chance. The texture on the sweater looks great - nice job on that!
It's very rare that my renders don't take at least a quick drive through Photoshop Village... I look at a render fresh from Poser or DAZ's render oven a lot like baking a cake. You've gotta finish it off with some icing!
