Description
Sparks will Fly - playing around with spark effects in post. I'm not in to buying filters and actions for retouching software. Back when this was shot I was using Photoshop. I abandoned Adobe products when they went with that stupid creative cloud product, and it was all for the better.
But, I digress...
I'm not in to actions because anything an action can do, you can learn how to do it yourself. (Yes, I create my own actions if I decide I'm going to do that technique over and over.) I figure, if I learn how to do it myself, I'm all the better for it. So, when it comes to post, most of the stuff you see in my post-processed images were done step-by-step without the help of actions or add-on filters.
That said, now that I've moved away from Adobe, I do find I use Topaz products a lot, and I create my own presets for the various Topaz products.
