Very nice scene. It has a casualness about it that's very appealing, One thing that I have found when dealing with sandy surfaces is to let tires and feet sink just a tiny bit below the geometric mesh in order to simulate the softness of the sand. Not much, but just a tiny bit to hide part of the tires in the sand would help a lot. Also, this would be a great place to play around with some wet skin shaders. Nothing sexier than a guy in short-shorts coated with a sheen of sweat!
