Description

Hagia Sophia in Constantinople, a former Greek Orthodox Christian patriarchal cathedral, has been in the hands of The Islamic Turks for centuries. Elder Paisios a well-known 20th century, Greek Eastern Orthodox ascetic from Mount Athos, prophesied that a great war between the Turks and Russia would lead to the restoration of this magnificent structure. This event, he foresaw,will also convert many Turks of the area from Islam to Orthodox Christianity.
