I am an amateur artist. I enjoy rendering 3D compositions and exploring random trains of thought when creating new images. I get a lot of inspiration from the many wonderful artist here at Renderosity. If you find a render I have created that you like, please give me a comment. I love hearing from you. Thank all of you that have commented on my renders to date. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so!

Great! When I was a kid, a very long time ago, I had a picture book of locomotives almost certainly including this one. And I could see them in action just a couple of blocks from my grandparent's house in Seattle heading north to the point they would turn east for the climb over the Cascade mountains.

I have stood by one of the real enchiladas several times and have photos in my gallery of one that was in Dallas at a former train museum but got booted by the city along with all the other museums on city property. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_of_the_American_Railroad
I was at it's current home in Frisco,TX prior to it being moved there. I took pictures when they were making sure that the wheels would turn without freezing. one of the very few qualified mechanics stayed at the prior location for 3- to 5 months making it ready to be moved. they used a Chief to move around at the yard there, but UP brought some of their newer trains to move to Frisco. it spent maybe 2-3 months in Irving at their yard. I will look for the file and post some pics again
