I have at least 4 tripods including a large one. I use the large one when shooting the moon because of the weight of camera and lens
outstanding work on this

you've capitalized on the softened, silky surfaces that long exposure offers on water, and created a fairy tale curtain of water, splashing into a sea of pure winter light. Beautifully done and timed. And it also gave you a softened 'fairy tale' forest, because the soft silken light appears very misty (as if sprinkled with magic dust). The two sides of trees and rock are the perfect frame for the shot; and the spill of light below is magical. I've done a little long exposure, but it mostly turned out a blur, as my tripod is cheap and I haven't really figured out the timing yet. But your efforts have a fairy tale magic to them; and wet feet seem to come with the territory, when standing in snow or water...I've stood on the ice on top of water, and it cracked, and I was up to my waist in frozen water. Not a fun way to spend a winter afternoon...
