Description

Story about Amy and her failed journey to the cattle market. Early in the morning Amy took the pick-up from her father, loaded with the sheep and the goat, and made the long way to the cattle market to sell the animals there for good money. At the railway barrier the car stopped at once and didn't want to start any more, had she run out of diesel? Full of frustration she got out of the wagon and saw to her horror that the sheep and the goat had already jumped off the loading area and they were now standing ankle-deep in the soaked ground because it had rained heavily the night before. Meanwhile the ewe was nursing her little lamb, which was already bleating around during the whole trip because it was hungry.The goat and the other lamb raved around in the muddy ground, played hide and seek and looked like little piglets. Although the light of the railway barrier had been green for a long time, Amy couldn't get the animals on the loading area alone anymore. So she stood frustrated by the pick-up and waited eagerly for a volunteer to help her out of her would help with the wet-poor situation...!
