Description

… There lived a society of warriors – all of whom were women. One of them – this one – is someone’s ancestor. I will leave you to guess who it is (she's in the story..). By the way, her name is not Diana. It’s Electra. She was the captain of the Royal Guard, and Trainer of Warriors. Beautiful and deadly, none who stood against her survived. Electra is a combination of face morphs, and body morphs by Illusions Designs. Her outfit and swords are from the Soul Warrior package by my pal, Jenny (Pixeluna). The background is a photograph by me taken several years ago in Arkansas. I have to apologize to you my friends, for a couple things. First, I’m way behind in commenting, but working to catch up. Second, every time I say I’m going to speed things up on the TNA story, it seems like all hell breaks loose and slows me down again. I am working on Page 32, and hope to have it posted soon. Things have a been really busy here, but hopefully are beginning to slow down. The last couple of days I’ve been in kind of a blue funk, almost feeling like I’m coming down with whatever the latest creeping crud is. Thankfully I’m feeling better – at least in that regard. On the other hand, I sometimes feel like I spend more time troubleshooting and managing these #$^#& computers than I do actually using them for creative purposes. I’ve just spent about a week getting DAZ Studio set up on the new computer and reinstalled on this computer, since DS 4.10 can't use the RTX2080ti GPU in the new machine - at least not yet. I'll be DL-ing the 4.11 BETA which supposedly does work with the 2080. In addition to that of course is migrating all the DAZ content to two different places – plus a backup drive – so everything matches. That was a lot of fun. Not. Then just as I was wrapping that little bit of enjoyment up, Microsoft decided now was a really good time for another update. I don’t usually mind the updates, I know they address things like security and performance, and so on. But this last update hoarked up my network connectivity on two of the computers. They can still get on the Internet fine, but they won’t communicate with the other computers. Thanks a lot, Microsoft. This network has always been a hodgepodge of “this computer can connect to that computer, but that computer can only connect to one drive in this computer, but it can connect all the drives in that other computer.” GAH! I know just enough about networking to be dangerous, and this malevolent group of computers that are always plotting against me just proves it! LOL I really need to get someone out here that knows what the hell they’re doing with networking… Anyway, thanks for stopping by and reading this epistle… I haven’t quite surpassed Mark in sheer length of these meandering stories, and I’m sure they’re not as hilarious as his – but I keep trying. And I’ve been told I’m very trying… LOL As always thank you all so much for stopping by, and all of your comments and support over the years! You all are awesome!
