Hope this amused you! Optional Commentary (for those with the time/inclination to read these things): When I was a kid, I was convinced that the Martians in the George Pal version of War of the Worlds were just as creepy as the Xenomorph that H.R. Giger designed for Alien. They certainly have a design that holds up extremely well as a non-human exemplar. The character I used here is a freebie distributed by RedFern on ShareCG, and since the Pal Martian is still copyrighted this falls under fan art. Minimal post-processing on the image, primarily for adding film grain. I don't usually render in Iray, but I did here because I wanted some great environment-based reflections on the Martians' carapaces. Enjoy!
