Description

Captured in town December of 2005. No rain from this. helanker's recent cloud photo inspired me to dig into my old files for shots resembling her posting from Denmark.

Welcome back, Harry, I was quite happy and relieved to see you back, and writing your usual sharp and heartfelt comments; and now posting this beautiful duo for Helle and her sky. I too thought of your cloud shots when I saw hers. This is a great pairing, with the bottom being black and white and more like those classic Depression Era photos of the Dustbowl in Oklahoma, etc. The roofs ground us just enough in this otherwise sea of quilted clouds. Also, the top one has a wonderful gold-amber tint. (You sure you didn't sneak into the Midwest for these? Missouri or Kansas or central Illinois???) Beautiful work; and I wish you returned strength and health, and that your recent bout of problems are heading out on a train for the Yukon, for a couple hundred years at least. Very glad to see you back. Hope you're feeling better!

And these lamb-clouds are just wonderful. Love so much the depth. Glad to see you post again, Harry :) I am on and off and just popping in every now and then. Lack of time and family issues.
