Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Grats to Miss Truly, great captures!

Big congrats to Truly! Looks like she's out for the count in this capture :)
Of course dogs remember...really irritates me when folks, always non dog owners it seems, declare with false authority that dogs only remember things by smell...such malarkey. These same idiots say that dogs do not understand words--only respond to the owner's demeanour/facial expression, etc. I tested my Chloe so she couldn't see me and used a flat, monotone voice...she always performed with the correct response...Also, all I had to say the words "snow" or "pigeon" and she would run to the terrace door. Or I would ask her, if she was bugging me, "what to you want" and she'd run to her treat box. Dogs rule! Many people, it seems, do not.
