It's nice to read your son---you must have your camera with you, and stop whenever a scene grabs you or calls out to you; it must hit you like a magnet: You just have to shoot it when you see it. Outstanding interplay of line over line, diagonal over diagonal and shadow over harsh bleached light. And your crop brings u right into the fence. I love your pov. (And a bit of your shadow on the bottom? Like Hitchcock, you showed up in the shot---unobtrusively---to give your signature,) (I assume you didn't intend it; but I love that you're there, on the opposite side. It's the perfect light for such dark shadows.)
