ironsoul is correct. Apparently that is an 1851 Fafschamps 50-barrel "carabine multiple", designed by Captain Toussaint-Henri Fafschamps of the Belgian army. It was used solely for defense of fixed fortifications. A later collaboration with engineer Joseph Montigny would produce a 37 barrel version that was intended for field use, a later variant of which was modified by the French and used as the Mitraillueuse in the 1870 Franco-Prussian war.
