Note: I am playing the mad scientist. Negotiations with the hospital staff was more difficult than expected. I succeeded to convince one of my previous student in medecine, Dr. Li'i Xi, to take charge of Mera's surgery. I had to give-up some of my research project of studying the wing anatomy of Mera and about their effect on her health, especially about her bone structure deterioration from her difficult flights. She will do the X rays, scannings, and bone density measurements, but at least we will share the publication authoorship, with her as the first author; I had to compromise. I will do the other studies, like the peculiar metabolism of Mera, her DNA activation sequence, her unusual intellectual capacities and her unique abilities with languages : verbal, written, corporal.
